Górnik Zabrze has announced the return of Tomasz Loska, who will once again don the "Tricolored" jersey after five years. The 29-year-old goalkeeper signed a contract until June 30, 2026 after a permanent transfer from Śląsk Wrocław. Loska, who played 80 matches for Górnik between 2017 and 2020, keeping 20 clean sheets, returns with sentiment. "I have this emblem in my heart," he admitted on the club's official website.

The transfer is a reaction to the changes in Górnik's goal following the departure of Filip Majchrowicz to Radomiak and Michał Szromnik to Śląsk. Loska, with experience from Bruk-Bet Termaliki and Śląsk, where he has played sporadically recently, will be a replacement for Marcel Łubik, who is on loan from Augsburg. The fans have enthusiastically welcomed the return of "Gienek", remembering his commitment.

Loska's return is not only a reinforcement of the team for Górnik, but also a symbolic gesture. Fans believe that his experience and commitment to the club will help in the fight for high positions in the Ekstraklasa. The Zabrze team, after ten summer transfers, is preparing for the start of the season on July 20 against Lechia Gdańsk.
