Today, a press conference was held before the match between Motor Lublin and Korona Kielce, in which Mateusz Stolarski took part. The coach of the newcomer clearly emphasized that in the match against the golden-blooded, his team is only interested in winning.
At the beginning, the coach referred to the match with Lechia Gdańsk, which his players drew. - We definitely want to get into the rhythm of Sunday's match better than we did in the match with Lechia Gdańsk. Of course, we are not only focusing on what was bad, but we also see positives. The second half, which we played much better, is definitely one of them. This is what we based our preparations for the match with Korona on. When it comes to elements that need improvement, we definitely need to maintain the right rhythm of the game for longer - said Stolarski. It is clear that the young coach is looking for positives from that match, on which he can "build" the team.
Okay, let's get to the heart of the matter, the match with Korona Kielce. This is what Stolarski had to say about the yellow-white-blue team's rival. - Korona, after gaining a point in Warsaw - because this draw is certainly very valuable to them - will want to follow up and win at their home stadium. We know that their situation is on the borderline when it comes to fighting for survival. We closely observed this team during the training camp in Turkey. It is characterized by high intensity, especially when it comes to pressing and its aggressiveness, but they also have players in their squad who can create the game. I think that their position in the table does not reflect the team's actual level. An additional bonus will certainly be the fact that a potential win against us will allow them to escape the relegation zone. However, we will fight for the full pool, because we always play for three points. I hope that we will return to Lublin in good spirits.
Finally, the coach commented on the health situation in the team. - Gašper Tratnik has already had the procedure, which went very well. The expected time for his return to full training is around 6-7 weeks. Kaan Caliskaner and Krystian Palacz are feeling better and better, and their rehabilitation is going smoothly. They are training both individually and with the whole team.
- Ivan Brkić has been with us all week – he came to visit us so that we could assess the progress of his rehabilitation. In about a month he will join us again, this time permanently, to begin the final stage of his recovery. It is similar with Kamil Kruk, he is also getting closer to returning to the pitch. As for his rehabilitation, there are no big surprises here, everything is going according to plan.
The Motor Lublin - Korona Kielce match will take place this Sunday (09.02) at 12:15 at the stadium in Kielce.
